This Amazon shopping thing just never gets old. It’s amazing to me to think that I live in a day and age where I can have exactly what I need delivered to my home with just a few clicks of a button. I know for a fact that my grandma never even dreamed of that sort of convenience. Convenience for her was something like buying lard in a can instead of rendering her own. Can you tell that I come from good old fashioned farm stock?
I feel like convenience can go too far sometimes. I mean, at what point do we all just become a bunch of fat monkeys sitting around pushing buttons all day? You do need to get out and do something eventually. We were made to move and interact. I think the perfect balance is to have all the things you don’t like to do be as convenient as possible, so you can make more time for the things that you do like to do. If what you like to do is sit around watching TV all the tie, maybe you should broaden your horizons, but I would be pretty happy if I could have enough time to take a pottery class.
